Another week and rinks in the lower peninsula of Michigan are still not open. I am beginning to wonder what that means. Kids are still skating, teams have all but been determined, games are being scheduled, team are traveling for tournaments. Parents are getting anxious trying to see what the upcoming season may bring if there is one. Frankly I am tired of it all. Just open the rinks, hence my motivation to modify my original design. click here for the new design

With the way things are in the state of Michigan I have found it crazy Ince rinks can not be open for teams together but rinks can rent ice time to private groups. Kids can get together in northern Michigan but the south side of the state officially remains closed. Once things finally do open I wonder for how long before they are shut down again? Watching my son skate the other day and with the realization that another week has gone by where I could get a dance at a strip club if I wanted but my son’s team can’t get together motivated me to release some new designs in my shop entitled Save Our Rinks.
